1/4cLard
1/4cButter
1/2cWater, hot
  *pastry
1cBrown sugar
  *or:
1/2cMolasses
1/2tsSoda

Make crumbs by combining the flour, sugar and shortening. Line a pie pan with pastry. Dissolve the soda in the hot water and combine with the molasses.
